Elite Speed University LLC was founded by Michael Cochran, a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach and former Division I middle-distance athlete from St. Louis, MO. Coach Mike has guided multiple athletes to national championship appearances and podium finishes. His goal is to build a collaborative track club in the St. Louis, Missouri region, highlighting the Midwest’s talents sprinting and distance events.His vision is to one day unite coaches from across the area to come together, network, and potentially formulate a unified track program that truly ensembles the power of coming together for a greater cause so that we may be able to showcase what our athletes can do on a collective team where coaches are paid and athletes can perform at the highest possible level.

 

 2026 Summer Track Recap:

14 Nationals Medals and 1 National Champion for our first year as a track club!

 

Sydney Lanton finishes 4th in the country in the Women's Heptathlon

Carson Selby accomplishes the title of 2026 Women's 3000m National Champion

Logan Harmon finishes 6th in the country in the Men's 800m

Andre Liddell finishes 2nd in the country in the Boys 800m

Carson Selby and Gabrielle Moresi double podium appearances in the Women's 1500m finishing 4th and 7th at Nationals.

Both 17-18 Boys and Girls finish on the National podium with our boys placing 8th along with our girls 4x800 relay finishing 4th at Nationals.

Our season concluded in Des Moines, Iowa with 14 National medalist,

1 National Champion, and 22 PRs across the team of 19 total attening athletes!
